EQUIPMENT
 
I first started out in aerial photography in March of 2003 after reading about it on the Ezone (www.ezonemag.com)
Since both flying and photography has been a hobby for some years, why not combine the two?
My first AP camera was a Mustek mini-3 with 1 MP and approx 16 MB storage.
It was triggered by an RC-switch made by Michele Schiepati, Italy, which is soldered to the trigger
inside the camera and connected to a standard R/C receiver.
 
The next development, and my current setup is a Pentax Optio S4 camera with 512 MB SD card.
It takes approx. 180 pictures at full 4MP resolution.
 
The camera is triggered via the IR-port on the camera
and Hexpert Systems were kind enough to develop an interface
between the camera and R/C receiver after some discussions
on the Ezone discussion forum (www.hexpertsystems.com).
